I’m what you could call a detail person and a planner.   Nothing I do could be considered “fly by the seat of your pants.”  Born and raised in Saint Louis, MO, I had the privilege of attending Westminster College where I played soccer and studied marketing and business with a concentration in advertising.

I’m currently an account coordinator at Schupp Company, an advertising and promotions agency in downtown St. Louis.  I have two years experience in the industry with the majority of my time spent in account planning and management on both digital and traditional accounts.  An active participant in the industry, I write this blog to illustrate my ideas and opinions on the future of media and marketing.  I also write for Rebus, the young professional arm of the Saint Louis Ad Club. 

Prior to Schupp Company, I spent time as a writer and marketing strategist for Upper End Properties, a real estate startup focusing on high-end sales and services.  During that time, I also started Talk + Play, a boutique marketing firm specializing in social media management, digital copywriting , video production, and blogger outreach where I led multiple initiatives for local clients U Design Jewelry, The Continued Fight, and Sky Music Lounge.   Previously, I discovered my talents as an intern at Westminster College where I assisted in the development of a brand awareness campaign as well as a mobile marketing tour, “Blue Jays Across the USA.”

Today, I assist in research, planning, strategy, and project execution for a number of national and local clients.  While I’ve worked hard to understand the fundamentals of traditional media, it’s the new, innovative approaches that drive me.  When I’m not working, surfing the net, or watching movies – I can be found spending quality time with my girlfriend, my family, and my dog.
